Queenstown Trip

On the 14th of May me,my sister,my dad,my mum,my dad's sister,my cousin and my granddad left for Queenstown, Te Anna and Milford Sound. Once we arrived at Queenstown airport, we immediately picked up our Hyundai imax and went to our holiday home. it was right on top of Lake Wakatipu. The road was around thirty digress steep. It was two levels, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.Then we went to the town centre and walked around. After that we ate lunch at this Chinese place. Then we had another walk around and then went home for dinner. For dinner we had a home-made buffet. The next day we went to the wharf and looked in the water. I was trying to look for really big fish but there were none. After that I found a really big binoculars but you had to pay $2 to open the shutters. Then we had lunch. Soon we went to Queenstown Gardens and when we were walking these dogs started attacking me. The next day we went to Wanaka. On the way there we stopped to go toilet and across the road there was lots of apples. Then
my dad's sister started eating one!!!! Luckily it wasn't some poison. When we arrived at Wanaka, we ate lunch and then we went to the wharf and there was this really long eel that ate a few people before(not now!!).Then we went to Puzzling world.Me, my sister and my cousin went in.The adults just drank coffee.In the hologram hall,there was the hologram of these children pointing a gun at you,and these two clowns. Then we went to The hall of following faces. The faces actually looked like they were following you but when two people move in the opposite way, they can’t follow you! Then we went to this room that it looks like one person is really short and the other tall. Then we went into this really dizzying room that is really cool. One thing there was this water thing that was going "up the path” but the room was actually tilted 1 degrees to the right. Then we went to to this room full of cool things.There was this “crate” that looks like your inside the crate and this “floating” bench.Then we went back to the main room and then did the giant maze.I thought we walked around like 7km.Once we went back to Queenstown, we took pictures of how small the apples were.We then we ate dinner. The next day we went to Glenorchy . On the way there, there were these island called Pig & Pigeon island.  My dad painted a picture of this shed there. Over there it was high tide.Then after the water went away there was this little sand back that we walked along, and when we were walking along my dad taught me how to skip rocks and eventually my high score of skipping rocks was 2. Then we went back to our holiday home and had dinner which was pasta.The next day we wen to eat Fergburger which was voted one of the top burgers in the world!!!!!! The morning before we ate Fergburger we saw on the news that the road to Milford Sounds was closing at 5:00 the next day.That night we had to phone our cruise manager( Jucy Cruise ). They 
said we should be there tomorrow. That meant we had to go through Te Anau an into Milford Sounds which meant a 5 hour straight drive. When we were like half an hour from Te Anau, we went to go toilet my grandad said "I've been in a tour group and my tour group went toilet here" and then he can't find the toilet!!!Then he said again"The next toilet will be locked....." .When we arrived in our Te Anau holiday home he said "My tour group also went toilet in here..."Next we went to buy Subway to buy our lunch. We kept on driving and then stopped at Mirror Lakes to eat lunch.So when we were looking at the Mirror lakes, we ate our lunch. There was this sign 
that wrote 'Mirror Lakes' that reflected in the lake but I thought it ruined the environment because there were no manmade things near the lakes except the signs along the walk. So we continued our adventure to Milford Sounds. Once we arrived at Milford Sounds, me, my mum and my sister got dropped of there to walk to the pier while the others just drove there. We carried most of the really heavy bags. Our cruise departed at 12:30. We first saw some seals on some rocks and then went a little bit into the Tasman Sea. When we went back we went inside a waterfall and lots of people got wet (including me). We went by a under water observatory. Then we went back to the pier. We drove back and in Te Anau, we had a $264 dinner!!! We had a Milford Sounds lobster. The next day we drove from Te Anau to Queenstown. We bought Fergburger for lunch at the airport. Our flight was delayed and we had to wait 1 hour!!!!! We had a really awesome holiday!!!!!
