On Sunday the 22 of September I'm going to Rainbow End!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow thats gonna be fun! Im going on the log ride yah!!!!! Ok this is so funny that my cousin Karen she is scared of the dark and her little sister lol ok went there on 22 setpember and this is the 27 of september so yeah and it was amazing and awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The magical tree

One day a villager went for a walk in the forest.when he was wandering he saw a tree with glowing bright blue leaves and and floating pollen falling to the forest floor the man wondered for a second and he went back  to his house.  And started making a book called trees and he went back  to the tree to study it . It was all dark blue and no pollen was falling to the forest floor and it was getting dark  and started going back to his house.  That night there was a invasion by the known  bandits bandicoot bandits they had the best weapons to knifes to guns  Two men had found the mans house and invaded it while the other invaded others they had went all around the house the man heard the two men he grabbed his m1911 and his AK-47  went down stairs and started firing at the men the men were taken by surprise and  started firing back. until the bandits decide to throw a grenade  bang the villager moved back to the bedroom and redbird the book he got his pistol out and aimed for the head bang bang . The bandits were dead  and he ran to his room grabbed his book and started thinking then he started heard gun shots and nearly the hole village was tide up to post to be shot by the bandits he grabed the ak-47 and started firing on semi auto  and took out 5 men then put it on full auto and started going crazy  and killed all he left the villagers tided up and said don't worrie and he wondered of into the forest. 27 minutes into the walk he heard somethings like cars he hid behind a bush and look over it tanks and trucks were going along he ran to the  tree and study it and got  samples of the pollen and the leaves  and  got his bag and got out his microscope and some other plants near by and made a drug and  named it gunadol this gives you more accuracy and more health  and less pain while taking hits. He made the drug took the drug and  grabed his amazing rpg and he had ran to the middle of the town and started going made and destroyed evreything  but saved the villagers.

Production!

Today ,it's Wednesday, it is production night ! My brothers day is the same day as mine ,the girls and I had to listen for the word coward.I was not afraid when I was doing the production but it was a bit scary.then the boys went up with the rakau  sticks.after that rm 28 did the small rakau sticks it was cool because we got on the stage to sing loyal. Then we went to the classes and watch the DVD we we're given. We went back to sing  the National anthem after another forty minuets.when we we're finished the.  National anthem lots of  streamers bursted out of nowhere! and we went back home and a lot  of the people we're tired after production.

On Wednesday PVS went to Clevedon school to visit our mates

Firstly we decided we wanted to do a paper slide video about both schools in the back ground you could here the harlem shake!!!!!

Then it was morning tea. I played UNO with my buddy and I lost but it was fun.

Then we went to the lab room. So you might be thinking that we are MAD MEN but just saying we are not that we were there for topic. My favourite was the popcorn they were so yummy. Then it was lunch I had a burger with chederd ,cheese,chicken and butter.


Then we had a little experiment were we had a soda bottle and put mentos in the bottle and it exploded!!!!!


It was a awesome day and maybe they might come to PVS

On Sunday 18th of September it was my birthday!!!!!!! i was soooooooooooooooooooooooooo exited!

The first present was drum roll please.............. the book "a boy in a dress"by David Walliams. then is opened the second present is........................... a old comedy dvd which is so awesome  i can't tell you

clue: kings and queens and stuff (and the kings and queens are very nutty)

the third one (since i play the drums) I GOT DRUM  STICKS SIGHED BY TRE COOL THE DRUMER IN MY FAVOURITE BAND GREEM DAY WOO.(i almost cried when i got it) A few hours after my nanna gave me a............... FAWLTY TOWERS DVD.IT CONTAINS EVERY SINGLE EPISODE.AND THAT WAS MY BIRTHDAY.

Clevedon School

On Wednesday Room 30 went on a trip to Clevedon School to see our buddies.

Unfortunately, on the day we went to Clevedon, their cross country inter schools were held so we didn't get to see some of our buddies. 

First we had to get enough parents to take us to Clevedon School. We managed to get enough helpers. It was a long, bumpy ride there.

When we got there we had to meet our buddies in Room 7. Some people had to go with a different buddy because their buddy or buddies were at cross country. 

Ella & Grace were my buddies but that day Ella had to go to cross country. Then Grace showed me around their school. Their school was a bit smaller than our school. 

Then we made paper slide video. We had to compare Clevedon School and PVS( short for Point View School)
After that we had Brain Break. This is when we eat healthy snake while working.

Then we had to have morning tea.
At morning tea, I had to go and be a wet day monitor. Everybody was older than me!

Then we went to a room and did a science experience. After that we had lunch. At lunch we went to the library to read.

After lunch we continued our paper slide videos and then we did one last experience, said goodbye to our buddies and went back to PVS.

Clevedon school was very fun and I hope I can meet my buddy again!

BUBBLE BOMB!?!?

On Monday Room 30 made four huge BUBBLE BOMBS!!! Do you want to a bubble bomb is? Well we can tell you! A bubble bomb is a messy experiment!

You need:

*One Sealable Plastic Bag

*Two Tablespoons of Baking Soda

*Food colouring

*Paper Towel 

*Water 

*Measuring jug

*Vinegar 

Step One:

Find a place where your parents won't yell at you when you make a mess. Its best if you do it outside.  

Step Two: 

Test your bag for leaks.  Put some water in it close the seal.  If there are no leaks the bag is ok to use.  

Step Three: 

Tear a piece of paper towel, about 15 centimetres square. Put two tablespoons of baking soda in the centre of the square and fold the paper around it.

Step Four:

Mix 300ml of vinegar and 150ml of warm water and pour them into the plastic bag.   

Step Five:    

Put the paper towel packet into the bag and hold it in the corner away from the vinegar while you seal the bag.     

Step Six: 

Place the bag on the floor and stand well back!   

Step Seven:

The swell up!

CLEVEDON SCHOOL!!!!!!!!

On Wednesday we met our blog buddies for the first time!!  I was at school it felt like a normal school day but when I looked at the time table it did not say maths it said going to Clevedon school I looked on the white borad to see who was I going  with I was going with Emma's nana., I pounced on Emma like a crazy cat saying "I'm  going with you, I'm going with you". We had to get ourself ready to go then Miss Lankow called room 30 to the mat I was bouncing up and down, I springed up when Miss L when she    
said find the grandparents you were going with I met Emma's nana. Then we went to Emma's house not to have hot chocolate but to put our bag in the boot and then taking off to go to Clevedon school, it only took a few minutes to get there once we got there with some other people and after that we went to room 7 a year 5-6 class over there I saw thier classroom and my blog buddy Alex the strange thing is that they look very diffrent  but anyway I was just not happy I was very Happy!!! Next  she showed us around the school she showed us the vegi patch whre they sell vegis to earn money for the school, Alex showed me the libary, courts. Me nand Alex went back to room 7 and we had to teach them how to make a paper slide video we had to pair up with someone else I paired up with Meah's buddie we first had to write what both schools have that the same thing and what both school don't have for each others school  then we had to get paper and wirte every thing in order. After that we had time to do science my favourite one was popping corn and eating it then we had to time say goodbye but not goodbye yet we actully had time for the last science thing, Mr Willlams opened diet coke and put mentos inside the coke bottle and it EXPLODED!!! I t was really cool and we had to say gooodbye and leave hope we go there again!!!!

There once was a group of friends . There names are Meah, Emma, Kaitlin  and Lucy.They were at Emma's house .
While they were there they went to have morning tea."Cupcakes'' Lucy said while she sniffed the air. When they finished they went to Emma's room. 
When they were there on her bed there were berry brownies. Kaitlin said ''We just had morning tea.''
 They took a piece each . ''they taste a little funny'' Meah said .Then she fell to the floor! ''this room is so small. '' Emma said as she fell to the floor!  Lucy said '' I'm sleepy let's sleep.'' Then she fell to the floor! Kaitlin said "Oh No'' she said as she fell a sleep.

When they woke up they were in a agency .....A secret agency . Where in the world are we ?!Lucy said .Your in NZ of course .said a mysterious voice. You are in the agency called SECRETS.It stands for Super Emergency Caution for Rights Ensure is Top Secret .
 ''why are we here" said Emma .To many Questions not enough time . My name is Michael . I am the leader of secrets  . lets walk and talk .
 so they got up and followed him . We heard you guys were great at keeping secretes.
We want you to be part of are team''you say WA.''Meah said . Now here are your spy phones.........''wait wait wait . you want us to have phones ?Said Lucy."Yes know eat some brownie . Michael said. "okay ''they said then the they fell on the floor.When they were a wake they were in there room in there bed . They thought it was all a dream .  The next day they were at school .they realised that it was real. they went there when school finished .
 They went to the agency an said We will at the same time. Ssoo we can't tell anybody?! AWESOME!!! Michael said You well be called at school sometimes .....Lucy said NO school no rules SO COOL!!!I said sometimes Michael said .
Never tell a soul!! GET IT! they said yes and trudged of in sadness

On the weekend there was a lot of atmosphere in the air because the best rugby test match was about to start in.....10....9....8....7....6....5....4....3....2....1.....0!!!! 

Dan carter kicked the ball high into the night sky. 5 minutes later........ big-hit that was massive Dan might have broken his collarbone and he is done for the whole season. 5 seconds later yay the dirty player got sent off  for a dangerous hit. 5 mins later.... the all backs captain scores his 25th try in test rugby and his 5th try against south Africa.                                                                                                                                                                  The end of the game NZ 29 to 15 south Africa.

Trisan's speech!!!!!

✍  Have you ever wrote your own speech in year 4? Well,on Tuesday 30Th of July, Room thirty started writing their own speeches. Our topic for our speeches is change which is a really  big topic. First we started thinking of a topic to write about.So we went on the app Inspiration to remember our  ideas. We thought of  tonnes of ideas to write about. After that, we thought of ten possible things we can write a speech about. The next day some people decided what their speech would be about. The others still thought of what to write about. I'm writing about my the English language and Terence is writing a speech about himself.Soon we had to write three introductions. Then,on to writing to our speech.It was quite hard to think of how to start our speech but eventually with a little help we finished our introduction. Soon people started to write their own main part. Most people didn't plan main key points but I did. My main key points were how English was in the olden days and now and comparing/facts.We continued writing our speech and making sure it makes sense. Finally people started finishing their speeches and showing it to the teacher. Our next step was to glue them onto queue cards. After we everyone finished writing their speech, we started practising them. Then we put our name into a box and the teacher made a roster about when we were presenting our speech. We all started practising hard. We both presented our speech on Tuesday. The teacher then asked us which did you think was the best. Eventually the teacher asked us to perform them to Mr Williams and the teacher. And guess what?  Me and Hillary got chosen to represent the class! The next Tuesday we will be doing our speech!!!  We started to practise REALLY hard. It was finally Tuesday......    Luckily I was last at doing my speech and right before me was Stephenie. One was about Thailand and she said that the elephants there are bad but I disagree because they are very proud of their elephants and why I know?- Because in this book it said that people from Thailand actually like their elephants because they set up MASSAGES by the elephants stepping on you!! I was very nervous when I went to present my speech. My mum said that that was the best I could perform it. When they gave out the speech placings I came SECOND!!  Although they said my surname wrong! So I was really happy of what I came!!!! Here's my speech:

How many of you know what LOL stands for?  And how many of you know what shan’t means?

Well, one of the reasons you don’t know what shan’t means is because they used it a long time ago instead of shouldn’t. When English was just invented, there were not many words and the first word was the word ‘town’ which we still use quite often. Also, a long time ago they had no grammar so I would imagine that it would be VERY HARD to understand, because at the end of ‘sentences’ it will be hard to know where the end of the ‘sentence’ is. When the olden days were going on, there were no words such as the, me, you and many more.

One time when I was reading a fact book it said that the phobia of long words is ‘hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia’. I wondered how people could tell other people that they have a phobia of long words because if they say ‘that’ word they will fear it. In the first place why did people invent the phobia of long words a long word? Also in the book it said the longest one syllable word is screeched. 

Here’s a weird fact: The word ‘monosyllable’ means having one syllable when it has five syllables! Do you know how some prefixes like ‘un’ make the word mean the opposite? Well, the word loosen and unloosen mean the same thing!

 Now back to the olden days. Imagine learning English for the first time. It must be harder to find a person who speaks it than to learn it! Hey, since we are not in the olden let’s come back to the modern days! 

Now you probably know lots about English so some of you will know a couple of these facts. Guess what the longest word with reverse alphabetical order is? I’ll give you a few seconds to think. If you thought spoonfeed you are correct!

Do you know a one syllable word that can be turned into a three syllable word? The word is are! Why? Because if you add the letter ‘a’ it will turn in to ‘area’. The most recent letters that were invented are ‘j,v and w’. 

Do you know what a palindrome is? It is a sentence that reads the same backwards! Most of them have different spaces but I have one that doesn’t! Here it is: God saw I was dog.

Here is a FASCINATING fact: the longest word in the English language is pnuemoenoultramicroscopicsillicovolcanoconeyohsis. Wonder what it means? It means a lung disease and to make it shorter to say the shortened version is pneumonia. So remember, never catch pneumonia!

Do you want to be a person who works in a computer factory?

Well, I’m going to be a person that works in a computer factory because I like to play computer

games and I like to watch YouTube Minecraft  with Chris-The-Mike, Sky-Does-Minecraft,Minecraft-Unerfrs and Zider-let-play.

Windows 8 is a new computer that the computer factory made and it has a hand control and mouse control like a normal computer. You can paint with a normal paintbrush on Windows 8. Windows 8 is the best computer I know.

On the computer you can share and talk to other people so we can communicate with other people in other places or in another country that is far, far away. Sometimes when you don’t communicate with other people you will get bored.

You can play games on a computer anytime you want. They created games because they want us to have fun and for entertainment. You can be creative on minecraft and it is my favourite game is well.

You can read on documents and email which is all on the internet or you can call it safari too, but it is only on an apple computer. On Microsoft internet is either called internet explorer or google chrome. Lots of programmes need the internet to work.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        

Manukau Zone Cub Hike with Niall - Cossey Gorge Loop Track, Hunua

On Sunday 23rd June, 2013 Niall and his dad picked me up from my house at 9.34am. We met at the car park at Hunua Range Regional Park. That's where every body from Sea Scouts, were well not exactly every body. Then we got on with the hiking some boys were moaning 'how long until we eat. my stomach needs food'. But then EVERY-ONE DID IT!!
So the Cub Leader said 'OK fine we can have a break'!! 
So then we had a morning tea break.
it wasn't wet at all every body liked it ONLY because it wasn't WET!

CLEVDON SCHOOL

On Wednesday 21st of August Room 30 went to Clevedon school.My mum took me there in a car,I hopped off my mum's car,and then I got to meet my buddy from Clevedon school.Firstly my buddy called 

Toby. They have a pool,an astro turf,and a field that it looks like it is BIGGER than Michael Jacksons back yard!!! Then we had "brain break".If you don't know what brain break is,its were you have healthy    

food, e.g apples, popcorn(without salt or butter)kiwifruit etc.etc etc.After that we team up with another group,and told our buddy how to make paper slide vids =+) then we had morning tea. After the we went in the multi purpus room. we did experiments  e.g. buttery  popcorn (mmmmmmmmm...yummmmmmmmmmy) salty ice,if salt melts ice quicker,and other stuff.Then we had lunch,since it was not raining i did PARCORE. then i did pic collage. At the end of the day we the BIG experiment. MENTOS IN COKE!!! WOOO.I wish i could go there again.

Going to Hong Kong

On the 4th of April I left for the Phillipines and Hong Kong. The flight to Hong Kong took 11 hours. We arrived at 5:00am. Once we arrived in Hong Kong, we could instantly feel the humidity.To get to immigration, you had to take a train!!!! We then took a bus to Tung Chung and then took the MTR ( Mass Transit Railway ) to Central and then ate Mc' Donalds for breakfast. Then we walked around Central and the went to Central Plaza and went to the hobby and the glass that stopped people falling out i was leaning on it like it was metal.We then went back to the ground floor and went to Hong Kong immigration to get my sister's Hong Kong ID card and also my mum's.Then we walked to Hong Kong park and went to the aviary. Then we went to eat lunch and then it started raining!!!!!!Suddenly it stopped raining and we went back to Hong Kong Immagration. They said that somebody had to pick it up because we are coming back to Hong Kong like a month later but it would be ready in like 2 months but we would be back in Auckland so we told our cousin to pick it up, but realised that they would mail the ID card to us. We then went soon back to the airport to go too Manila but that will be a different blog-post.........
