Last week in term 1 at Point View School Room 30 went to technology. We made rat traps for the Coromandel Kiwi witch is New Zealand's most endanged bird. first we mesured
wood that had to be at least Thirty centimetres long. Then we sawed the wood in half three times. Next used a hot glue gun to stick all three sides together. finally we did the trapdoor we used a staple gun as the lock with a Nail to lock it in with to staple guns at the top. In total we made 32 mouse traps in 2 days!!!!! I hope we still hold the record.
You have all worked so hard to make that many rat traps! I think you were having way too much fun with all the sawing and sanding you were doing! What happens to the traps now?
